Correct. Do the 3 day hydration and on day 4 polish your nails. Yes, wipe down your nails with rubbing alcohol. You can read more here:

Just to clarify, you do the 3-day oiling, then on the 4th day, that’s when you start the manicure? Do you have to wipe the nail down with rubbing alcohol or acetone first before the manicure?

In reply to La. La, thanks for stopping by. She did the 3 day hydration treatment, then polished. She continued to apply oil to her polish and skin to prevent premature cracking of the polish and to keep her skin soft.

Where can you buy this product? I am a nurse and need to constantly wash my hands and at this point i hate for anyone to see my hands. My nails are so short do to peeling and are thin to the point of bending and tearing.

could you clarify if Marie used the oil only for the three days and then polished for a week, and then removed and then did the mini hydration and then polished for another 7 days, or did she only put oil on for the entire period to get to the 14 day picture,

In reply to Jill. Mine does the exact same thing! The second I start to get any free edge, the top layer just peels right off on a few of my nails. I am trying to do the 3-day hydration again and to actually stick with capping the free edge in polish properly to prevent excessive water retention in the nail plate. I keep my nails polished all the time but I have horrible at capping. I need to do better to prevent this peeling.
